You will receive an order conformation via email, and I will then send you the mailing address to send your inclusions to. If you do not receive the email containing the address, and do not see it in the “Junk Mail” folder then contact me directly so I can resend it.

Breastmilk:

I would like to have 15-20mls of breastmilk shipped to me for preservation. I like to have at least that much in case some milk leaks during shipping. If you are unable to send that much then please contact me for further instructions. (For example: 1 tablespoon is 15mls, or 1oz is 30mls)

On the OUTER milk bag I need the following information written:

• First Name

• Last Name

• Order Number

If any additional keepsakes are shipped with breastmilk (ashes, flowers, etc), then EACH item will need to be properly labeled regardless if the items are in the same package. Different types of keepsakes can be stored in separate areas so ensuring all items are labeled properly is very important.

Milk must be DOUBLE bagged using two breastmilk storage bags that seal very well.

 

Be sure that BOTH bags are sealed very well to prevent milk leaking/spills during shipping.

Send milk at room temperature. It does NOT need to be frozen. 

Ship milk in a padded mailer or box.

Ashes:

I only need a very small amount of ashes for each jewelry piece (¼ to ½ teaspoon is plenty).

Please place ashes into a bag that seals very well. No need to double bag.

On the bag I need the following information written:

Any unused ashes will be shipped back to you with your Keepsake Jewelry piece.

Ship ashes in a padded mailer or box. Do not mail ashes in a regular letter envelop with a stamp because it will be too thick to go through the USPS machines and will be returned to you.

 

Hair:

I need 2 inches of hair per Keepsake Jewelry piece.

To help keep the hair together please place the locket of hair in a folded piece of paper or foil, and then into a zip lock bag that seals well.

On the bag I need the following information written:

Any unused hair will be shipped back to you with your Keepsake Jewelry piece.

Dried Flowers:

I request 1-2 petals/leaves of each color flower/greenery you would like in the Keepsake Jewelry. If the petals/greenery are very small then please send a little extra.

Please only ship dried flowers/greenery in a zip lock bag. Do not ship fresh flowers/greenery in the mail as it will mold in transit. If you are unsure how to properly dry the flowers then you can contact me and we can discuss it.

Dried Placenta/Umbilical Cord:

If you have encapsulated your placenta, please send 1 capsule for up to three jewelry pieces. It must be dried prior to you shipping it to me.

For umbilical cords I need very little. I do not need the entire cord stump but if you’d prefer to send the whole stump you are welcome to. Although, be aware that I cannot be responsible for items lost during shipment, and I don’t recommend sending all of what you have in case the shipment gets lost.

Additional Shipping Information

For safety of the keepsake you will be shipping DO NOT send the last of anything, due to the possibility of the item getting lost/damaged in transit to me. Lost packages are a rare occurrence, but not impossible.

I do not mail back any extra milk, bottles, or packaging so please do not send any packaging that you are attached to/want back. I do store preserved breastmilk here for 1 year in case you would like to order another piece in the future, or a piece you have needs repair.

If you feel that your keepsake was lost during shipment, contact me prior to shipping more.

 

Please check my website under “Order Status” to confirm your keepsake was received by me.
It is your responsibility to track the keepsakes you ship to me, and ensure that I receive them.

 

Please KEEP tracking information until items are delivered to me in case a shipment gets lost during transit.

If you have delivery conformation from your tracking number, but you do not see your milk marked as received on the Order Status spreadsheet and it has been more than a few business days then please contact me.

PLEASE be sure to properly label the keepsake bags. * If your information (name and order number) is not properly labeled on the outer milk bag prior to shipment then it can increase the chance that your milk can’t be identified.

Do not send packages as certified mail requiring a signature.
